The programme addresses the educational & developmental needs of children as young as 5 years old and caters to their learning ability & pace. It also involves parents in the child’s learning journey through various activities such as talks & workshops.

Outcomes to be achieved for the parents:

1. Increased confidence in parenting
2. Increased understanding of the child’s developmental needs
3. Increased understanding of the parent’s roles & responsibilities
4. Enhanced parenting skills

Target clients:
The programme targets both children and parents/family of the children, i.e, 30 children aged 5 to 8 years old, from non-English speaking background and have difficulties picking up the English language. Most of our children are referred by personal contact and other agencies such as schools, kindergartens & hospitals.

Programme fees are charged at $85.60 (inclusive of 7% GST) and up to 90% subsidies are provided for needy, eligible families. Other charges include a one-time registration fee of $10.70 (inclusive of 7% GST) and a one-time deposit of $85.60 which is refundable.
